Alan Blake is the owner and film director/writer at Blake + Company.
He has directed numerous national TV commercials for many of the largest and most creative agencies, on behalf of blue chip clients in the UK, Europe and the USA; earning a reputation as an "A list" director of comedy, dialogue and storytelling commercials, often working with famous actors and celebrities.

Alan has also worked in longer formats; writing and directing "It's a Drag", a short film based on British drag racing and the psychological drama "Victims" which was jointly produced with Paramount Pictures. This film had a national cinema release and was subsequently shown on British TV.

Recently Alan has turned his attention to creating a new kind of production he calls WIMS, as he expands Blake + Company to incorporate work across digital and web platforms.

Major awards include: The London Creative Circle Award for Best Direction. The Palm D'Or (twice) plus Gold, Silver and Bronze Lions at the Cannes Advertising Film Festival. Silver and Bronze Arrows at the British Television Advertising Awards. Two Gold Clios at the Clio Festival in New York. Two Silver Awards at the German Art Directors Club Awards.
